Essential Reading Element - Reading Comprehension

 

Objective(s) - Students will demonstrate an understanding of key concepts from the story.

 

Procedure - Read and discuss the book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.  Discuss main event and key vocabulary. Break students into two teams.  Use the attached PowerPoint presentation to play the Jeopardy game.

 

Implementation -  Whole group game.
